Bruce was a Scottish immigrant, businessman, prominent landowner, soldier, politician, husband, and father. He answered the call during the American Revolution and served as an officer in the Maryland militia.\nMr. Laycock is a member of the Westminster Chapter of Sons of the American Revolution and a board member of the Historical Society of Carroll County.\nRegistration is required for this event.
