The Art of the Musical Instruments. Ken Koons. Ken Koons – luthier, blacksmith, woodworker, musician, and photographer – has been making and playing beautifully crafted handmade instruments for many years. Some he has created based on drawings that are hundreds of years old. All members of his family band, Wherligig, play multiple handcrafted instruments.
