Hello all,

Thank you very much for your interest and participation in Carroll County Historical Society events!  We want to highlight four events coming up in November. Registration is available through the HSCC webpage.  We would love to have you join us!!

Thursday, November 4, 7:00 pm – Annual Meeting featuring keynote speaker Sharon Tosi-Lacey on A Brief History of the Census 1790 – 2020.

Dr. Sharon Tosi Lacey is the Chief Historian, Public Information Office, U.S. Census Bureau.  She has served as the Chief Historian for the U.S. Census Bureau since June 2015.  In her talk, Dr. Lacey will provide historical information and context for the evolution of the decennial census from 1790 to present, and will also highlight information specific to Carroll County.

The Annual Meeting agenda includes the election of officers and board members, a financial overview and a report from the Interim Executive Director.

We hope you can join us for this important meeting.  Due to ongoing COVID concerns, this will be a virtual event.  The Zoom link will be sent the day before the meeting.  Cost is free to HSCC members.
