Carroll 250 Event: History Feast

Wow! Do we have a weekend for you … Stay tuned for updated information but here’s the general idea:

Friday, July 24 – 6 pm – HSCC, in partnership with Bernie Vogel (JeannieBird Baking Company), will be hosting a dinner, wine tasting, and history talk at the newly opened (as of July 9) Shriver-Weybright Auditorium & Naganna Exhibits Hall and History Learning Center. More details will be coming soon, and tickets will go on sale around June 1.

Saturday, July 25 – ALL DAYThe historic sites and societies of Carroll County will be having food related events throughout the day. Whether it’s how to make butter or ice cream, or the way food was prepared in 1950, a list will be provided once we hear back from the sites.

On Saturday night, the Carroll County Farm Museum will be hosting a dinner. Please stay tuned for more information and link to their site for registration.

Sunday, July 26 – 12 pm to 7 pm – Our generous Society member, Sharon Pickett, has graciously offered for everyone to tour her historic farmhouse and enjoy her delicious cookie and a beverage. We are asking for at least a $10 donation for the tour. Registration for this event will be open on June 1. You do not need to register but we are requesting it to know how many people Sharon could expect.
