Carroll 250 Event: Westminster Memorial Day Parade 2026

Save the date for the Memorial Day Parade on Monday, May 25, 2026. For over 80 years, American Legion Carroll Post 32 has remembered our fallen servicemen and women through the Memorial Day Remembrance Parade and Observance Ceremony in Westminster, Maryland. This parade, considered by many to be the longest consecutively run parade in the country, was started by Mary Bostwick Shellman and continues to honor the lives of our men and women service members.

Please stay tuned for more information about the parade and observance ceremony. The Carroll 250 Booth and committee members will be outside the Historical Society at our campus at 210 E. Main Street during the parade for 250 information and swag. HSCC will once again also be in the parade!
