Carroll 250 Event: Sykesville’s Let Freedom Ring Parade

Bring the whole family and celebrate America’s birthday, Sykesville-style! Parade floats will be judged, and awards for floats will be announced after the parade. The parade should be over just in time for lunch and ice cream downtown Sykesville.

The Let Freedom Ring parade will start at 10 AM that day, beginning at Sykesville Middle School and proceeding down Springfield Avenue and the length of Historic Main Street, with floats and vehicles accompanying the approximately 35 participants marching in units and organized groups.
