About the Presenter:
Samuel Riley is a Carroll County attorney and retired Army National Guard officer who writes and speaks on local history. His written work includes “The Road Most Travelled: The Shrivers and the Turnpike,” Carroll History Journal (Fall 2019). He serves as President of the Board of Governors of the Union Mills Homestead Foundation.
