Historical Happenings: Historical Society of Mt. Airy’s History 101 Series (4)

Speaker Don Cropp, regional historian and historic preservationist from St. Mary’s County, Maryland will be discussing the plot by John Wilkes Booth and his fellow conspirators to kidnap President Abraham Lincoln and how it turned into the assassination of the President as well as the escape of Booth through Maryland to his eventual capture and death in Virginia. Mr. Cropp possesses a library of 400 book on the subject of Abraham Lincoln.
