“Mail on Wheels” Book Launch

Join acclaimed children’s book author Mona Kerby, Union Mills Homestead, and the Historical Society of Carroll County for the publication launch of Mail on Wheels. The event will be at the Old Post Office (Kohn Creative, 83 E. Main Street) in Westminster on Saturday, August 23 starting at 10 am. The book tells the story of the first Rural Free Delivery in Carroll County. Mona brings to life this unique and fun story of a time of transition for the farmers and residents of the county in an amusing and entertaining way. Come hear the story with Mona, pick up a signed copy, and enjoy light refreshments. Mail on Wheels will be made available at the launch at the discounted rate of $15 per copy.
