Welcome to our newest staff member, Kyle Wichtendahl. He is joining our team as our Archivist/Library Assistant. Kyle is a native Marylander, originally from Mt. Airy, but now living in Catonsville. He has a lifelong passion for studying history, especially the Civil War era and Maryland History. Kyle is a graduate of St. Mary’s College of Maryland and studied for a time at the University of Maryland, College Park. He previously served as Educational Programming Coordinator for the National Museum of Civil War Medicine, where he was involved with the Frederick Historic Sites Consortium and served as past president of the Harpers Ferry Civil War Round Table. Kyle is also a great outdoors enthusiast and an avid birdwatcher.
